Urgent Requirement: Siebel Developer

Position Description:
KDOL is seeking to fill a six month contract for a Siebel Developer, subject to renewal. This position exists to examine, modify and maintain existing KDOL Siebel applications.
The primary responsibilities for this position are:
· Identify technical solution alternatives and implement solutions within budget costs and schedules.
· Interview end-users and observe operational procedures.
· Analyze functional specifications for a system or program and translate into detailed technical specifications and design.
· Code, test and debug application programs by using and/or creating detailed instructions as to work methods and technology as established by KDOL.
· Establish and maintain effective working relationships with users, supervisors, and fellow employees.
· Respond to customer requests and update the work request system in a timely manner.
· Work well within the existing team structure, providing input and knowledge share.
· Thoroughly document all work as required.
Minimum Qualifications:
Successful completion of 24 hours in computer science coursework or certification and two years of experience coding, testing, and debugging application programs OR four years of experience coding, testing, and debugging application programs
Education:
Education may be substituted for experience as determined relevant by the agency.
Specific Skills Desired:
· Siebel IP14/IP16 experience preferred
· Experience with Open UI development standards (HTML, JQuery , CSS, JavaScript)
· Web Services development experience (EIM, Workflow Design, Integration, OPA, WSDL, RESTful services)
· Proficiency in database (SQL Server 2012)
· Strong Siebel configuration/programming experience and functional knowledge with a strong understanding of software architecture and programming principles required
· Extensive experience with Siebel configuration, customization, Product Configuration, eScripting, Workflow, and EIM
Performance Standards:
· The expectation is that a candidate will be able to competently perform the routine tasks of the position immediately
