I. Subtitles for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (SDH)
This section applies to subtitles for the deaf and hard of hearing created for English language content (i.e. intralingual subtitles). For English subtitles for non-English language content, please see Section II
Text in each line in a dual speaker subtitle must be a contained sentence and should not carry into the preceding or subsequent subtitle. Creating shorter sentences and timing appropriately helps to accommodate this.
II. English Subtitles
This section applies to English subtitles created for non-English language content (i.e. interlingual subtitles). For subtitles for the deaf and hard of hearing for English language content, please see Section I.
KNPs/formality tables must be created and used for translation to ensure consistency across episodes and seasons. Please discuss with your Netflix contact the most suitable KNP workflow for your project.
Do not subtitle Netflix credits unless instructed otherwise. If subtitling them is specifically requested, please refer to the Originals Credit Translation document and follow the FN rules for your language.
For purposes of this subchapter, a partnership agreement includes any modifications of the partnership agreement made prior to, or at, the time prescribed by law for the filing of the partnership return for the taxable year (not including extensions) which are agreed to by all the partners, or which are adopted in such other manner as may be provided by the partnership agreement.
9A-806. Partner's liability to other partners after dissolution.
(a) Existing liability.- Except as otherwise provided in subsection (b) of this section and 9A-306(c) of this title, after dissolution a partner is liable to the other partners for the partner's share of any partnership liability incurred under 9A-804 of this subtitle. (b) Incurring liability.- A partner who, with knowledge of the dissolution, incurs a partnership liability under 9A-804(2) of this subtitle by an act that is not appropriate for winding up the partnership business is liable to the partnership for any damage caused to the partnership arising from the liability.

9A-602. Partner's power to dissociate; wrongful dissociation.
(a) Power to dissociate.- A partner has the power to dissociate at any time, rightfully or wrongfully, by express will pursuant to 9A-601(1) of this subtitle. (b) Wrongful dissociation.- A partner's dissociation is wrongful only if: (1) It is in breach of an express provision of the partnership agreement; or (2) In the case of a partnership for a definite term or particular undertaking, before the expiration of the term or the completion of the undertaking: (i) The partner withdraws by express will, unless the withdrawal follows within 90 days after another partner's dissociation under 9A-601(6) through (10) of this subtitle or wrongful dissociation under this subsection; (ii) The partner is expelled by judicial determination under 9A-601(5) of this subtitle; (iii) The partner is dissociated by reason of an event under 9A-601 of this subtitle; or (iv) In the case of a partner who is not an individual, trust other than a business trust, or estate, the partner is expelled or otherwise dissociated because it willfully dissolved or terminated. (c) Liability for wrongful dissociation.- A partner who wrongfully dissociates is liable to the partnership and to the other partners for damages caused by the dissociation. The liability is in addition to any other obligation of the partner to the partnership or to the other partners.

(a) Partnership. For purposes of this subtitle, the term "partnership" includes a syndicate, group, pool, joint venture, or other unincorporated organization through or by means of which any business, financial operation, or venture is carried on, and which is not, within the meaning of this title, a corporation or a trust or estate. Under regulations the Secretary may, at the election of all the members of an unincorporated organization, exclude such organization from the application of all or part of this subchapter, if it is availed of--
(b) Partner. For purposes of this subtitle, the term "partner" means a member of a partnership. In the case of a capital interest in a partnership in which capital is a material income-producing factor, whether a person is a partner with respect to such interest shall be determined without regard to whether such interest was derived by gift from any other person.
(d) Liquidation of a partner's interest. For purposes of this subchapter, the term "liquidation of a partner's interest" means the termination of a partner's entire interest in a partnership by means of a distribution, or a series of distributions, to the partner by the partnership.
