Itreads as follows: The feature you are trying to use is on a network resource that is unavailable. Click OK to try again, or enter an alternate path to a folder containing the installation package 'Autodesk Genuine Service.msi' in the box below".
There is an image in the original post where you can see the error message. I'm not sure what deployment is, but I downloaded from the autodesk website. Tried both installation through browser, and downloading all installation files and installing that way. Same error.
I have no other firewall installed other than what comes with windows. No extra antivirus software either. I've also contacted the IT-firm we use for tech issues, but so far they are also a bit clueless as to what causes this.
We're not set up like that. That is, they only handle communication with our servers. Where we store our projects, as well as email accounts etc. The computers themselfes are entirely controlled by us.
I'm not entirely sure what was the problem, but I had two Autodesk Genuine Service installed. I uninstalled both and could then install Revit 2021 without any problems. However they could not be uninstalled the normal way, so I had to download a special software from microsoft in order do it.
Hello, so I had this error today (October 25th, 2021) about the service mobilewebservice.msi something along that line not being found at the AutoCAD 2021 educational software installation. Anyways long story short what I did to get my install working was I browsed to the folder of where AutoCAD was installing (C:\programfiles64....AutoCAD) and in there I found a folder eventually where the install was and more specifically it had the words WebMobile. After selecting that folder I clicked next on the installer and voila I'm now currently finishing the install!
