ANN: Riak KV 2.9.1

The 2.9.1 release of Riak is available now.

Most of the functionality in this release was possible due to the support of NHS Digital (https://digital.nhs.uk/).  The development test and assurance of the release was led by Aire Logic (https://airelogic.com/) and Quviq (http://www.quviq.com/).

There are currently multiple parallel riak workstreams, which we expect to lead to further releases:

- The OTP uplift work (targeted at release 3.0) is ready to be available at a pre-release candidate for non-production testing, subject to some work on packaging.  This can already be built from source (https://github.com/basho/riak - `develop-3.0` branch).

- Work has begun on a 2.9.2 release, which will contain some simple enhancements to recently released functionality (e.g. node_confirms on GET and riak_kv_eraser scheduling).

- The technology team at bet365 (https://bet365techblog.com/) are working on significant enhancements to the riak stats solution, and both functional and non-functional improvements to the riak_repl replication solution.  These are likely to be delivered as part of a future 3.1 release.
