Your answer should not be a book report. Don't just summarize the plot; detail why you enjoyed this particular text and what it meant to you. What does your favorite book reveal about you? How do you identify with it, and how has it become personal to you?

ACT practice tests can help students familiarize themselves with the format, content, and time limitations of the actual ACT test. Many ACT prep courses include practice exams. However, all students can access free subject-specific practice tests on the ACT website. Students receive instant feedback on these practice questions, including explanations for incorrect answers. The ACT also offers a free test prep guide with a full-length practice exam.
In most cases, yes, as long as students commit to putting in the time and effort to study. Signing up for an ACT prep course is only beneficial if students are willing to attend classes, complete lessons and practice exams, review answers and feedback, and build up their mental and physical stamina for the test. Studies have shown that short-term prep, such as going through a self-paced workbook, increased scores by 1.2 to 1.5 points, while more in-depth preparation methods raised scores by up to 5.8 points on average.
Answer choices 2 and 3 each portray a librarian reading a book to a girl and a boy and answer choice 4 portrays a librarian reading a book to two girls. Only answer choice 1 shows a librarian, with a lamp behind her, reading a book to just one girl.
The word "despite" suggests that this is a contrast question. In other words, the answer choice will need to contrast with "having dozens of friends." The word, "lonely," best completes the sentence because it suggests that even though Jake has many friends, he still feels lonely.
The study app features practice tests in arithmetic, elementary algebra, college-level math, reading comprehension and sentence skills. Students can review content and evaluate their skills prior to sitting for the actual placement exam.
Why? If, for example, you spend just two extra minutes on a section, this could raise your score by hundreds of points, since the extra time allowed you to answer more questions than you would've been able to within the actual time limit. Calculators, including graphing calculators (for example the TI-85 or TI-86), are allowed. Calculators with symbolic mathematical manipulation ability, for example the TI-89, are not allowed. There are four parts to the exam: BA, AA, PC, and TR. The Math Placement Exam system will start you in Part AA, and it will only ask you to complete Part BA if necessary. 10 questions per exam part with a 20-minute time limit per part. The exams you are about to take use an online system called OWL (Online Web-Based Learning). You will receive one point for each question you answer correctly, and there is no penalty for incorrect answers. No books or other outside assistance are allowed - the work should be entirely your own.
1. From the Assignment List page, click on the exam whose grade you want. Or from a question page within an exam whose grade you want, click on the "I've finished the exam." link at the bottom of the page.
2. On the Unit Menu page, press the View Score button.
3. Under the heading, Final Submission for Assignment read the notes to make sure this is what you want to do.
4. Press the Submit Assignment and View Score button.
5. Read the warning box and press OK if you are sure that you want to forfeit any remaining time, or press Cancel if you wish to return to the exam.
6. Your Score is shown in the top left of the Unit Menu page and on the Assignment List page.
7. Repeat for other exams if desired.
8. Write down your score for each exam.
Students need to pass the Mathematics Proficiency Exam with a score of 80% or higher to be accepted to the early childhood education programs. The exam is composed of 35 questions. Students need to get 28 questions correct to pass it. This proficiency exam is administered by the Department of Early Childhood Education/Art Education.
Applying to college often involves taking a college entrance exam, such as the SAT or the ACT, which are both typically used to measure college readiness through multiple-choice tests.
