Thanks for reaching out and welcome aboard to the Community! To make a playlist private, just use the three dots next to it or right click it and then select "Remove from Profile", as described here. If you don't see this option, then the playlist isn't public.

If I'm playing an album, you can click on the album in the 'now playing' bar at the bottom to jump to the list. However, sometimes I'm on a Spotify playlist or start a radio. If I go for a browse, the songs continues to play in the background but I can't seem to get the playlist back on the screen without searching for it again.

From left to right there are icons for shuffle-previous-pause-next-repeat and then a large gap to the right where there is a 3 bar icon which is Queue. Clicking this brings up the complete playlist queue

I'm trying the spotify premium 3 month for 99c, but since I use spotify mostly with the web player interface, i feel like the interface is very reduced in function and more often than not I find myself wanting simple functionalities that are not in the web player anymore.

I never knew there was a web player as well as the installed version I use. I found it and logged in and all my playlists were there. As you told me there is show playlist details icon on the taskbar but I found the reason is because it is not needed. Clicking any of my playlists be it either various songs or complete album produced the complete track listing and a click on Play then started the music.

it appears that in my latest version (Mac v 1.0.65...), there is not only the "queue" icon someone noted, but if i click the album cover of the song in the bottom list, it takes me right to that song in the current playlist, which is exactly the behaviour i've wanted since forever, so kudos to Spotify for listening to folks and doing the right and obvious design choice.

In the web player, you can view the currently playing playlist by clicking on the playlist on the left side of the page - under "RECENTLY PLAYED" it should be the first item in the list. If it is currently playing, it will have a small speaker icon next to it. Click that icon, and it will bring up the playlist and the currently playing song will be highlighted.

-not if you have the music library I do. I've listened to to music for tens of thousands (literally) of hours on Spotify Premium over the years, liked thousands of songs and created (or liked) over 100 playlists which I would all want to port to apple.

In Spotify you can only search for public playlists by playlist title. This is unhelpful for obvious reasons. To demonstrate, a few of my public playlist names: Tiny Danza, Peach World, Works, Jon Secada. The Jon Secada playlist only has a single Jon Secada song in it. Anyone searching for Jon Secada playlists will probably be disappointed if he/she finds mine.

... filling in the bracketed variables. Warning: Google may block your searches with a captcha because it thinks you're a robot. Also, while this method returns some public playlists that include a given song, it does not include all of them (many haven't been indexed).

This card supports listing the users currently available devices and the users 10 top playlists on Spotify. Choose an online media player and click on a playlist to play it on the device. The component uses the Spotify Web API.

Also I want to add chromecast devices once I figure out how to get them from the hass object.
Anyone knows how to figure out if a media_player is able to play spotify (chromecase devices supports it for sure).

I managed to add a spotify playlist to a blog post but is it also possible to embed it directly on the main page? What type of block should be used? And also, is it possible to have it play automatically as you enter the site?

Once you authenticate with Spotify, your playlists will appear below. Select a playlist to change the order of songs and wait for a message. Easy peasy.Once it completes though, it can't be reversed by this tool. So make sure the list you want to change the order of is the correct one.

What do I do after I randomize a playlist?
Once your playlist has been randomzied/shuffled, go to your playlist in spotify, make sure the sort order is set to "Custom order" and also turn off "shuffle" and then start playing from the first track! The tooljust put your entire playlist in a new order for you so you want to play from the first track.

Can you randomize/shuffle my liked songs?
Sorry, unfortunately Spotify does not allow access to moving the liked songs around. One workaround is that you can make a copy of your liked songs as a new playlist and shuffle that one. I know it's not ideal, butit does work

Coming to the attention of the editorial playlist team requires a combination of organic success, smart positioning, effective use of the platform and sometimes the help of external PR representatives.

Fotor is an all-in-one visual content editing platform. Apart from playlist covers, you can use it to create Spotify album covers, music album covers, podcast covers, SoundCloud banners, posters, logos, and other visual content. Fotor has lots of image editing features, too. You can resize or crop images, remove backgrounds, add text to pictures, apply photo filters and more. Whatever you have in mind, you can create it using Fotor.

To make Spotify kid-friendly, use the "Allow Explicit Content" feature. Access it through your child's Spotify account settings, and toggle it off in the "Explicit Content" section. This automatically skips explicit songs in albums or playlists, ensuring your child only listens to age-appropriate music.
