As a special treat for fans, Mindless Behavior will release 4 limited edition covers of #1 Girl, each featuring a different member of the group. While the cover on a majority of the albums will feature all four members, albums with those four limited edition covers will be available only during the first pressing.
Celebrating the album release, Mindless Behavior will star on the Scream Tour: The Next Generation (screamtour.com) from September 30 to November 20. Among the stops will be New York City, Los Angeles, Baltimore, St. Louis, Washington (DC), Chicago, Detroit, Houston, Dallas, Cincinnati, Cleveland, Oakland, Atlanta and New Orleans. The tour follows Mindless Behavior's summer spent on BET's Closer To My Dreams Tour with other young teen sensations.
Produced and largely written by Walter Millsap (Beyonce, Timbaland, Alicia Keys, Jennifer Lopez) and Candice "Goldie" Nelson (Mary J. Blige, Britney Spears, Ciara)--other writer-producers are Boi-1da and JukeBox--#1 Girl combines infectious beats and soulful harmonies to turn the heads and melt the hearts of young girls everywhere. Mindless Behavior already has notched the #1 artist page on MTV.com and ranks as the #2 Universal Music Group artist in online presence, behind only Lady Gaga.
Streamline Records head Vincent Herbert, who discovered Lady Gaga, developed the original Mindless Behavior concept with Millsap. At a 2008 audition hosted by Conjunction Productions--a teaming of Millsap, Nelson, Keisha Gamble and choreographer David Scott (the latter three helped create B2K)--Prodigy, Roc Royal, Ray Ray and Princeton shined the brightest. Over the next three years, they honed a singular style that embraces not only vocal skills but incredible dance moves and a unique fashion sense.
Hello is the seventh music video by Mindless Behavior from their debut album, #1 Girl. The music video also guest stars Tisha Campbell and Gary Sturgis. The video also has features parts of the songs "Girls Talkin' Bout" and "Mrs. Right".
The video opens with Prodigy in his house, getting ready to meet his friends and his mom tells him he is grounded as he skipped his curfew and when Princeton calls him as Roc, Ray Ray, and Princeton are playing basketball. As Prodigy sneaks out and meets the guys at the court, but they notice four pretty girls passing by as Prodigy tries to impress her by dancing and she invites him and the guys to her party and give each other their phone numbers. As the four are seen for half of the video dancing in a black/white room with the intitals "MB" on the side. The boys go to the girl's house and as she and Prodigy chat in her room as her dad comes home as Prodigy goes out of the window as the boys run away. The four are at the party while Prodigy's mom notices he is gone as she goes to the party and then tells him to get in the car and that his father will deal with him and then ends with "To Be Continued".
