Representing New Orleans!

[Rhythmic Arts Festival]

FRiENDS & DANCERS - I think it's pretty awesome that two great New
Orleans bands will be representing in the national Swing Dance
community on the same weekend. These are bands I get to hear all the
time and absolutely love!

APRiL 4-6 - The Loose Marbles will be playing and teaching at the new
Rhythm & Jazz Revival in Minneapolis, MN.

APRiL 4-6 - The New Orleans Jazz Vipers will be playing at the already
sold out Washington DC Lindy Exchange.

APRiL 11-13 - If you want to catch both amazing bands as well as about
150 more local bands, come to New Orleans for the French Quarter
Festival. I went last year and had a great time: music stages and food
booths are set up around the French Quarter all day long. Plus, some
NOLA swing dancers are organizing the Fleur De Lindy Exchange the same
weekend. You can't loose.

PS - Look for a New Orleans Rhythmic Arts Festival in 2009. It won't
be a new year's festival because Natalie already organizes one of
those here, but it will be fun for all.
