The Fleur de Lindy Exchange, French Quarter Festivals Inc, and
Rhythmic Arts offer locals and dancers from around the country a 5-day
weekend dance schedule filled with live, local music and all night
dance parties. It is not too late to book cheap flights to New Orleans
and there is still limited local housing available. ;) See you in

THURSDAY, APRIL 16

7-9PM - JAZZ CULTURE & DANCE GATHERING - CLASSES
Washboard Chaz’s Palmetto Bug Stompers will play for a 2-hour social
dance class with hosts Chance Bushman & Shani Brown. This event is
free thanks to support from Sweet Home New Orleans and the New Orleans
Musicians Assistance Foundation.
8-11PM - LINDY HOPPERS FUND-RAISER
The Lindy Hopper’s Fund of America offers a comprehensive program
designed to meet critical needs of swing dancers over the age of 62.
When FdLExchange Venue Coordinator Jayna Morgan found out about the
fund helping original Savoy dancer and local New Orleanian Gloria
Thompson, she got the local Lindy Hop community involved.

11PM-2AM - THE SPIRIT OF ST LOUIS
The Spirit of St Louis is New Orleans’ newest Thursday night Lindy Hop
venue. Tom Saunders will spin 78 RPM Swing records from 11PM-2AM. $5
cover.

10PM-5AM - FLEUR DE LINDY EXCHANGE
Your New Orleans swing dance festival features Luke Winslow-King, The
Loose Marbles, and St Louis Slim & Friends, DJ Tina Davis, DJ Ryan
Swift, and Special Guest DJ Bill Borgida.

9PM-5AM - FLEUR DE LINDY EXCHANGE
Your New Orleans swing dance festival features The Palmetto Bug
Stompers, Meschiya Lake & Erika Lewis, New Orleans Moonshiners, DJ Tom
Saunders, DJ Ryan Swift, DJ Tina Davis, and special performances.

Everybody’s gotta do it at least once.

Youth Tap Competition ($100 cash prize!), Performances, Vintage
Videos, Guest Speakers, Treme Brass Band! This event is free thanks to
support from Sweet Home New Orleans and the New Orleans Musicians
Assistance Foundation.
9PM-12AM - THE LOOSE MARBLES @ ONE EYED JACKS

10PM-1AM - NEW ORLEANS JAZZ VIPERS @ SPOTTED CAT
