Thank you for your email.

The due diligence on some of the title documents showed up some discrepency and had to be corrected taking all the owners concerned into confidence.

As you know the present owners are heirs to the property and all of them live in different parts of Bangalore with the daughters married out of the city and the suburbs.

After that the process with the Tahsildar, Assistant Commissioner, District Commissioner and the Surveyor had taken time as it is done on the files based on seniority.

We are now almost ready with the updated records and should have them by next month after which we will be going ahead for the conversion, sanctions and approvals.

I will update you next month on the likely date of launch.

Hello Guys,

Its more than 2 years and every time they say it will be in next month or so. Not sure when that month will be finalised.... I know many of us are waiting for constructing the home in this layout. We are losing the time and can not afford other properties in the surroundings if we take out our deposits now.

Does anyone know what is the petition about? Can we ask for the petition number, etc? We can find more about that from some other lawyers, or if any info there online regarding filed petitions.

Dear Arvind,

After we got into the land acquisition process, some of the land owners had partition suits pending which went to court. The suits have to be disposed and a compromise petition is to be accepted and filed. 

I don't want to get into all the details of the acquisition procedure and explain it to you but yes, there has been a delay and we accept the blame. 

We have invested in crores into the property and we have no option but to bear with the delay especially when the land rates in the area have gone up substantially and when this settles we will get the benefit for having the patience. 

Please let me know if you would like to stay or if you want to withdraw, we will need some time to refund your money from our other projects cash flows.

Yes. I think its real high time that we all should come up together and get the exact update.

It will always help to go in big number and demand an explanation instead of going individually.

There are quite a few in this group who already withdrew the money.

Lets plan to meet at Rhymer in next couple of weeks at any cost.

Are we planning to meet them sometime soon?

Few things that we shall ask for - 

1) where is this issue stuck?
2) Legal documents about the land ownership? If any case is filed, could we know the details (case number, etc.)? Is it possible?

We are waiting in the dark currently. We shall ask for some documentation supporting their claim.
