I am very sad to report that Maurice Hoare died yesterday of a heart-attack while cycling in southern France with Fran.

Fran has asked for the news to be shared with his cycling friends. Details of the funeral will be posted here.

Our thoughts are with Fran and their children; Jenny, Becky and Mike.

A message from Fran:- There will be a memorial service, including a woodland burial, at Mayfields Remembrance Park at 11am on Friday 15th August 2014.

This will be followed by a buffet, also at Mayfields Remembrance Park.

All welcome. Please get in touch if you need any further information.

In lieu of flowers, we would like to ask that donations be made to Sustrans (http://www.sustrans.org.uk/). Maurice was a Sustrans Wildlife Champion and enjoyed looking after his section of a local route.
