Received this from Ann Williams, as always we welcome anyone wishing to attend on our behalf. The current road racing programme in North Wales must give many of us who care about the sport in the region some concern, but it now requires a collective approach by ALL clubs/teams and their members, not the traditional few enthusiasts in a couple of clubs, to rejuvenate it:
A meeting of the Competition and Event Safety North Wales Sub-Commission will be held in North Wales next month and I feel this would be a good opportunity for clubs to come together to discuss the region's racing calendar with the sub-commission. It will also be an opportunity for those of you who have not met Jake Eddy (Events Co-ordinator) to do so. The meeting will also provide the opportunity for Jake to meet North Wales members; an update/discussion on CSAS provision / training; 2014 events in North Wales; identifying potential events for 2015 (road, MTB, BMX); and AOB.
The meeting has been pencilled in for Monday evening on May 12th and hwill take place at Llanrwst. If you are interested in attending please can you confirm your attendance by the end of this week please? If there are others who you think might like to attend, I would appreciate if you could forward them the details.
