Some updates on the Rhus system / wildflowers of Detroit

- Version 3.0.1 of the Android app has gone up on google play.  This is a complete rewrite, and we've fixed some bugs that were identified a few weeks ago.  We should have a working app at this point, at least for taking pictures and sending them.   This source code is based off work done under the auspices of the Calflora project, so send them warm feelings.  TouchDB for Android was a total failure, since CouchBase abandoned that project mid-stream and stranded us,  and we're glad to have finally moved past this roadblock.  https://github.com/deepwinter/rhus-android-v2

- iOS app also has been fixed and we have working app code there also, finally.  not in the store yet for download b/c we are waiting on a few graphics.  Need someone willing to donate a few hours here and there for graphics help if you are out there.  But if you check the WoD map you'll see that I'm posting test images from Oakland, CA now.. it's saving and uploading later manually, so we finally have a working tool.

- We have a list of plants from Detroiters to add to a 'plants list' in the app.  This hasn't been put into Android yet, but can happen soon.   iOS version won't have this for a while.

- For WoD we are considering also launching an iNaturalist project… this kind of confuses the WoD infrastructure, but given the unstable nature of our work on Rhus, it might be best to have a fallback so that data is actually getting collected, in cause maintenance falls off again on the custom WoD app.  As always also looking for anyone interested to donate a bit of programming time to Rhus/WoD.  https://github.com/deepwinter/wildflowers-of-detroit-iphone

That's it for now!
