getting error while installing rho mobile 4.0 to mac snow leopard

Hi 

I am trying to install Rhomobile Suite 4.0 in an Mac Snow leopard OS. But i am getting the following error

ERROR: while executing gem ... (openSSL :: SSL :: SSL Error)

you don't have /user/PC/gem/ruby/1.8/bin in your path

is anybody faced the similar kind of issue? please help me.

You need to have Ruby installed on your machine and make sure the binary is on your path.

But you won't be able to build on Snow Leopard, because you need Xcode 5.x to build and Xcode 5 minimum requirements is Mountain Lion.
