Hello,
I like to deploy rhodes app to my BB. I followed the instructions on
the website regarding changing the default ICON
by putting the icon.png into the icon directory in the app folder
( this did not work), and I tried replacing the icon in
rhodes\platform\bb\rhodes\resources, this works once, but subsequently
did not work... Although I did a clean.bat in the blackberry simulator
directory. I am using the unstable 1.4, and I am hoping someone can
help me on this one.

Also are there full instructions on how to deploy this onto my BB
phone, I need to show my boss, need an instruction that I know works
for sure.

Regards
Dave

Hi,

You should only need to put the icon.png into the icon directory and
build. Dont try to copy it to rhodes\platform\bb\rhodes\resources,
etc.

To build for device just run

rake device:bb:production

You will need to have BlackBerry signing keys installed in your
environment for this to work.

Vidal.

Ok, I have the license key etc from Blackberry. It gets verified in
the deployment process, as per instruction given above i.e rake
device:bb:production

However, whenever I try to deploy files in this directory
<app-dr>\bin\target\4.6\ota-web>

to my blackberry on the webserver,

I end up with this error: "907 invalid cod http error 406: not
acceptable."

Please help, am I missing something...?
Thanks
David

Several good links there that might explain what is going on.
