could not establish network connection in android emulator

i am using android emulator for running my mobile application,
in my application when i tried with login i got error as


"could not establish network connection"

can any one say me solution for this?

Are you still able to open a network location at browser in simulator?

yes i am able open simulator in browser by using localhost and also
using ip address

I asked slightly another.

You have to be able open Android browser in Android simulator. In the browser you have to be able to open any network location (www.google.com for example).
If it works well this means Android simulator has network connection and that is first step to target your problem.

are you login to local server?

you should use IP address not 127.0.0.1 or localhost as server name

i can login in server no problem in that, i can also create user but the problem is with simulator i can't login in my application in simulator

i have opened sync server  url in emulator browser  its opening, but still i can't login into my application in androind emulator and  it shows only "could not establish network connection"

i have changed localhost to ip address in rhoconfig.txt and now i can
login
