Are there plans for accessing the phone's call logs/events

Besides on the iphone, will there ever be the ability to read the
phone's call logs or have hooks into the phone's events to do
something like prompt a user when a call ends?

Not high on the priority list now (due to not being possible on iPhone), but that can always change in the face of a commercial licensee who needs it.  If you feel inspired to add this we'd love to help guide you on contributing that to the framework.
