Executable file for ios device.

Hi,

I have created an rhomobile app using MAC OSX 10.7

Its working fine for iphonesimulator5.0

Now i want to run this app on ios device.

As i built the app using Xcode4.2, build is succeeded.

I followed below link:

Could anyone please suggest me which file is executable for ios device and location of same ?

If built in XCode, You can go to window -> Organizer and it will show your apps in there.

From the organizer window you can distribute your app to either the App Store or use Ad-Hoc. Ad-Hoc allows you to distribute using your developer provisioning files or distribution provisioning files (if you have created them)

You will be prompted as to where you wish to save the ipa file.

From there drag the ipa into iTunes and sync.

Alternatively if you have your developer provisioning file set up with your device UDID, You can just select your device from the drop down menu in XCode when it is plugged in (If XCode 4.2 supports your device version) and hit build

Could you please tell me how can i distribute app to either the App Store or Ad-Hoc from the organizer window.
I wanna create .ipa file to install on ios device but its not creating as build is succeeded by Xcode4.2

If you have built the app correctly for app distribution (product -> archive) Then the sucecssfull build will show in the Archive section of the Organizer,

From there, You will see a button that says distribute (This is for XCode 4.5 it will differ slightly for 4.2, I cant remember exactly where the buttons were in 4.2)
