As we all know over the last week, the voice over ip has been running quite
well. Kenny and i have spent many hours working on it, tweaking it, etc.
A friendly reminder, your radios should always be a primary source of
communication, and voip as a secondary source.
For instance, if you go to an area where we don't have good radio coverage,
then the voip is a perfect solution.
The reason for this, we want to sound as consistent as possible, and using
the radio helps us do that. The voip should be a backup.
A reminder, if you're testing voip, remember to turn your radio down so all
the feedback doesn't come across the network. That gets pretty annoying.
The voip should be used as a tool, not a toy. Use it when it's needed.
Guys, i'm not saying don't have fun, but just remember, the radio is top
priority. Use it whenever possible.
Happy fire chasing.
Thanks,
Jedi
