I am the Community Partnership Coordinator at ReSOURCE YouthBuildYouthBuild is an alternative high school education program that works with students to develop job skills in construction and light carpentry while earning credits towards high school completion. As part of our program, we also complete weekly service projects for different organizations in the Burlington community. I was wondering whether you would be interested in having our group out there. We can do all sorts of projects including build related, painting or whatever your organization would need help with. Recently we helped Outright VT organize and clean their kitchen, we have helped Salvation Army organize their storage garage, we have also helped Ronald McDonald House bake cookies and prepare dinner for their guests. So our service can vary into other various projects that fit your needs.

Our service days are on Fridays with a time frame of roughly 9:45 am - 2:30 pm. We would have around 6 students and 3-4 staff participating on those days. Our calendar has some openings on August 23rd. September: 27th. November 1st, 8th, 15th, 22nd.  December 6th, 13th, 20th.

If you are interested in our help or would like to collaborate on ideas or if you have any questions feel free to contact me through e-mail or you can contact me through phone if that is easier for you, my number is 802-399-9005. Looking forward to this partnership with you!

Genuinely,

It is great to hear from you Rabbi. Just so you are aware we have one opening in September (27th). I am not sure if that will help you in preparation for the Holy Days. But if so I can reserve that day especially for you 😊. Looking forward to working with you!

  1. Waterproof the window wells on the north wall.
  2. Repair/replace the gutter on the back side of the Hevra Hadiesh (badly spelled)
  3. Scrape and paint the exteriors of the windows
