Hello Saptarshi,

After a week of nightmare, I finally found the problem. It was
actually in Makevars.in. I had a friend explaining me what's wrong,
and actually most compilers are friendly enough to let it go.

The issue is that ${PKG_LIBS} and ${RLIB} should actually be at the
end of line54. It seems that during link edition, the norm (posix? not
sure...) would require to put dependencies in order: if liba.so links
to libb.so, then you shall not write -lb -la. If they link to each
other, -lb -la -lb should be ok (but I couldn't test, I just repeat
what I heard on the phone).

So in our case, putting the -lR and -lprotobuf after the list of
compiled objects is enough to solve the problem. I sent a private
email (I didn't find how to reply on the group) to the guy there:
https://groups.google.com/group/rhipe/browse_thread/thread/a3b5b778be444c9f/acabdb406aa52117
but couldn't find how to make the comment public. I am pretty sure
this would solve his problem as well.

Oh because, yes, now I can compile imperious.so, thus Rhipe :) I'll
try tomorrow to see if other problems are solved with this tweek.
