Is anyone else experiencing problems with version 11 and Dremweaver's SFTP function? I have one user who had no problems before we upgraded to 11 but now has errors when uploading files via Dreamweaver. Some transfers work, some don't. He has no problems making the same transfers with Filezilla.
Thanks,
Michael

I suggest you turn the logging on and let him use dreamweaver's sftp.
That way you should be able to see the details on which command it
goes wrong.
Since the ftp protocol nicely gives errors back this should be a
helpfull log file.
I suggest that you do not put this logfile publicly here, if you can
identify the errors you should send it to rhinosoft support. They will
fix it quickly if it really
is a bug.

11.0.0.2 was just released with a couple of fixes that look promising:
Corrected an SFTP (via SSH2) bug where opening a file for writing with the SSH_FXF_OPEN_EXISTING flag alone would not open the file.
Corrected an SFTP (via SSH2) bug, introduced in 11.0.0.0, where the solution to reused or misinterpreted packets caused certain OpenSSH based clients, such as "sftp" in Linux, to be unable to transfer all but tiny files.
I'm going to update and have the user see if the problem persists.

As I said they fix their bugs quickly. Thanks for telling it. Now
someone else can benefit from your test too...
