Hi,

I'm investigating the possibility of using Rhino Service Bus to synchronise data between two otherwise disconnected systems (Microsoft SharePoint and Microsoft CRM). The systems sit on 2 servers on the same network.

The hurdle I need to get past right now is handling server downtime. I can simulate this by closing down one of my console apps for a period of time and then starting it up again. If the period of time is too long then the messages don't get delivered when it starts up again. I presume I can increase this by setting the maxRetries config setting to a large value but it would still not result in a guaranteed message delivery should the server be down for a long time.

Is there a setting that I'm missing that will enable guaranteed message delivery when an endpoint comes back online?

Regards,

Matt

I've been testing with Rhino.Queues to avoid the administrative overhead of MSMQ.
