     Hi!

  Nowadays parent do not pay attention that, what their children looking at?! But it’s very important. Even if scientist proved that from their early ages children  affected from TV ; it doe not matter whether they are looking at movies, cartoons, soap operas or something else. They always take something from TV ;good or bad. So I mean of course children are going to be affected from  movies, cartoons or TV programs.

 Although he/she is a child ; they can see or understand- more or less-discrimination, nationality, ethnicity or something lie that. May be they are  a little bit “young” to understand it but sometimes they can do their best not only in understanding but in everything.

As the author said they do this with or without exposure to television and film.

As an ex; when they go to the parks, theatres, cinemas they meet with the children of different cultures, countries and with black children. They don’t pay attention  whether that child American or not, black or white. But films; which showing  discrimination or racialism impact on them not so good thoughts.

 If we live in democratic world ; if in his world exists the equality of man and if we want to live in peace in our children’s mind can not be any conception of racialism, discrimination and etc. Because children are of that society, country. For my opinion one of the best thing to influence children are the movies, cartoons; briefly TV .

They pay attention everything; to each details. As an example once my . niece on of  motion which she saw in cartoon. An we just get surprised hoe can she pay attention so  little thing.

  So for a healthy society we have to bring up healthy brains.

I  want to give an example; Formerly children get afraid of black people. Then, after 1963 (if I’m not mistaken)black people had also rights like white people. But for a long time white children get afraid of when they saw black people.

The reason is they do it unconsciously. Years ago this idea was in their grand parents or their parent mind. And they also unconsciously past it to their children.  I mean that children are the most sensitive creature of  humanity so we have to be as much careful as we can when we say, explain, behave something to that “sensitive creatures”.

  In movies, cartoons we saw a lot of negative characters. And large majority have an accent; and mainly  they are from foreign countries and have a heavy accent. And that characters in most cases don’t improve any more or don’t change his/her position. As the author said ; Jewish women had heavier and thicker Jiddish accents and she was less attractive than a German woman who did not have strong German Accent.

The character who has heavy or a little bit  accent are always or  in most cases was demonstrated  as a  negative character.

My classmates told about that  movies, cartoons. There are  a lot of movies, animated films we can give an  example.

But I want to speak about a real event. May be you’ll think it not related with our topic.

In our city unfortunately there are a lot of beggars. And some of them learned English for begging. When they see tourists they run after them and ask money. Of course their accent is terrible. An those beggars make them to think in a bad  way about that country/or about his culture, notions and etc. Briefly make bad affect on them.

 Or one of the most famous cartoon; in  “Aladdin” we can see it easily. Positive characters speech are very fluent, understandable and in most majority no accent.

 This kind of  thing influence child, his formalization process of mind. He accepts and may be analyse and all of this “bad  characters with certain accent” takes sufficient ground in their mind and reflect his/her future.
