Hi Rhadooopers
we are trying to apply a little bit of process to the management of this group so that we are more effective in answering. To help us doing that I would like to ask you a few things
- Don't reuse old threads. New problem, new thread. If you think there is a thread that's related to your question, link to it, by all means.
- Use the "Mark best answer" feature when appropriate. To us it means go straight to the next user, next problem. It saves a lot of time. Particularly, I am talking about the original poster, who is the only one who can mark the best answer (excluding moderators) to the best of my understanding. If your problem is solved, please let us move on as well. A little report on how thing went would be nice, but it takes time. A click, that's all we are asking. You can imagine how this workflow is incompatible with thread reuse, a.k.a thread hijacking.
- Tag sensibly. Applying the maximum allowed number of tags just because you can is not sensible. Your question will not be prioritized.
As always, reproducible test cases of the type that can be simply cut and paste into an R vanilla session is the best way to get answers. Thanks!
