I have R installed on 64 bits Windows 7. In the same machine, I have Hortonworks Hadoop sandbox running inside an Oracle Virtualbox virtual machine. I have a small data set in Hadoop. Now I want to connect to Hadoop from the host machine and process the data in R.
Please help me with a step by step procedure to connect from R to Hadoop. Thanks.
