(I'm trying to make a WoW Discussion for you all to use, we will see
if I am doing this correctly...)

So you all can start using this to update everyone about WoW.

Here are my updates:
-Stroblie is compiling all of the RHA major events, AS Events, etc.,
to start the WoW calendar hand outs.
-I emailed Joshelyn, Stroblie, and Katie about sending me description
about Zodo's, the Rally, and Country Nights to update WoW on the
Housing website for incoming residents. Please email me back by 5
this afternoon so that I can forward the information to Pam.

Thank you all you rock!

Hi all, we are working on splitting up the WoW budget so that we can
give you how much $$ you can spend per program on Monday. Can you
email me your estimated totals/budgets for the major programs you are
working on?

You're all doing a great job. :-)

PS, Andrea secured Bruce Wilkoff as the Hypnotist!

Alex and I are thinking about making a giant wow calendar like last
year's but laminating it so that it cam ne like a dry erase board, and
that way we don't have to use post-its.

Hey ya'll, we got news back about using the bus bank service that
Christian found!

It turns out that the Bus Bank "farms out its services, so it hires
small bus owners or small companies to do their work for them. They
are like an agent, with different busses they offer from different
companies..."

Here is what Alex Ramos recommends that we do:

-Get a quote from Bus Bank
-Tell them that we are shopping around for the lowest price
-Call up SB Airbus
-Tell them that RHA is a non-profit run by students at UCSB, we got a
lower quote from Bus Bank but want to give local business a chance to
match that price because we would rather have business with them.

(We have spent $15K ($4200 last year, $11800 the year before) with SB
Airbus in the past 2 years and we really enjoy doing business with
them! Remind them: student-run, non-profit!)

Christian, you cool to work on this on Monday for the various WOW
programs?

Thanks Elizabeth! Just to be clear, you want me to get quotes for transportation for the ice cream social and for zodos?

sorry i accidentally sent before I finished! anyway... I ended up getting a cheaper quote for ice cream social  transportation from sb airbus. We settled on $1300 for 2 buses instead of three. I also asked for a quote for the  public lands day trip and that would total out to be about 900 dollars because they only offer the daily rate on saturdays. I then called ucsb transportation services and they have 12 person vans that we can rent out for $42 each. I ended up booking two vans for saturday the 24th. They should fax over a contract sometime soon  for an advisor's approval.
