We want to set up a trial run to see how this would work out, go ahead
and post your daily RHA Office Hour achievements, and items you are
working on before you long out, this way members in your committiee
can follow up on such items once you are out of the office. Again,
this is only a trial run.

I worked on getting the microsoft outlook calander and emails cleaned
up and tried to sync it to my phone, to no avail, yet.I also set up a
meeting with Lisa Slavid on Monday.

Sorry to spam everyone's email with the committee discussions posts. I
think it is important to have a seperate place for each committee to
post committee specific announcements, updates, and concerns/questions
in addition to a discussion for daily tasks. We can always delete them
if they aren't necessary, I just thought it might be easier rather
than having a single thread for everything. Let me know what you all
think.

Sent out emails to the GauchoLocos, Pep Band, and Cheer Squad to see
if they would be interested in participating in the All Loco Rally.
Need to download and submit forms if we want Ole or any of the players
to come out. Must be submitted at least 4 weeks in advanced, so we
have some time to figure out if the other groups want to help or not

Just called Zodos for information on reserving the space, their events
planner, Terry Davis, was not in so I left a message with details on
what we would like and my phone number so she can call me back.
Hopefully she calls back soon!

Got an email back from the GauchoLocos president, who is interested in
participating in the All Loco Rally. Haven't received emails from the
other groups yet. I have a tenative list of which SLD events I do not
feel like RHA needs to go to. Going to give one more look over later
today

Set up transportation for the ice cream social. Contract is set and
they said they would contact us when the date. Got prices for
trashcans for the event also. They said all we needed to do was call
about a week in advance and that we could pick them up then.

Spoke with Terri Davis, and she gave me a quote for a max of ten lanes
to be reserved equaling 180 people for 3 hours. Contacted Mark with
Santa Barbara Airbus and got a quote, and worked out a schedule as to
how shuttling would work the day of the program.

talked to IS, two of the De Anza computers are in the Resnet/IS office
upstairs being fixed. De Anza has paper now!

Not really a "Daily Task," but it made the most sense to put it
here...

I plan to be in my office/San Cat the following times this week!

Tuesday: now until noon
Wednesday: 8:30am - 10:00am and 3:30pm - 5:00pm
Thursday: 8:30am - 11:00am and 3:30pm - 5:00pm
Friday: 8:30am - 11:00am

Today I meet with Paulina who works under Das Williams to go over some
saftey concerns and enviornmental concerns. I also meet with Willie
Brown for about 2 hours. The first hour concisted of going over some
wow factors that we want to implement by the start of fall. Were
looking into outside furniture that residents would want to hang out.
We also discussed the transporation system for students with
disabilites. Going along with more world class facilites we also
talked about the strong possibility of getting smart boards and HDMI
cables to better serve students whent they study/ prepare for a
presentation. I then emailed applications for the VP of Finance,
Equipment Supervisor, and Web Manager to one of the current San Miguel
summer session RDs in an effort to fill these spots.

I am utilizing this group to ASSIGN a daily task rather than update on
one!

As you know, the theme for SLD is Hogwarts: School of Leadership and
Development.

Each area (CI5, Farside, San Cat, and RHA) will represent a house,
much like in the Harry Potter novels. With that being said, we need a
house name (using RHA, something...) as well as a mascot/animal to put
on our flag.

We already decided that our house colors are blue and gold and that
our motto is "Titulus Iunctum In Defero" ("putting the unity in
community!")

Please come to the meeting on Monday with ideas for the name and
animal (Andrea votes for the warthog or wild boar...I prefer a
unicorn).
