Hello

I have been giving this a lot of thought but it seems that all we can do is speak for about 2 minutes each on how this GSE experience has enriched our lives!!!

I am thinking of taking our blog to Staples and paying for one hundred copies and distributing them to the participants.

I look forward to your views.

Best.

Gilles

Hi Everyone,

I think that we should coordinate to talk about a different aspect/benefit or we will sound like we gave it no thought. We would all end up saying the same thing 5 different ways.

Also, I think we should just distribute the rest of our business cards and point out that the blog is still live.  We could also add our presentation file to the blog. I think we have enough space left.

Hello Team,

I agree with Michelle, on all points, with perhaps a slow paced slide show during our 10 minutes.  With a slow pace, like 15-20 seconds per picture, the focus can still be on what we are saying, and not have everyone distracted by the photos.  We would not point out what the photos are verbally, but they would emphasize our speech.

If we each talk about how this experience has enriched our lives from the professional point of view we are less likely to overlap & repeat.

I have been invited to the Kemptville meeting next Tuesday evening, where the Brazilian GSE will be presenting, and plan on distributing our business cards there.  I only have about 40 left, but I think handing them out at the District Conference is a great idea.  I’m not in favour of the handing out of hard copies, since one of the major things I came away from Brazil is how the corporations were trying to be environmentally conscientious.

We may be able to have a laptop available to set up with our blog on site at the conference.

I think if we had 5 pictures each of our professional visits, we could easily throw together a slide show. Everyone could put the pictures into dropbox and keep building the file.
