Anna has written to us all to remind us to register immediately for the Fall conference.  Could you please confirm that you have done so.  We are all duty bound to attend. 
 
In addition, may I please request confirmation that people are current in terms of the presentation.

Hi All,

I registered this morning. Pretty easy. I only signed up for the lunch. 

I am confused about the presentation and what we are doing. I wrote a few times back and forth with Anna and I understand that we only have 10 min. at the actual conference so not sure what we do with such little time. As for the Friday night power point, is that the bunch  of photos that you guys talked about on the conference call?  Matt and I have our presentation if it can be used but it is 20 minutes with the speaking. 

Gilles, can you clarify what Rotary is looking for?

BTW, the DG presented my school with our club charter for EarlyAct yesterday. We had a big ceremony at the school with many Rotarians in presence. It was amazing and last night I attended the  90th anniversary gala of Brockville Rotary and so many people came up to give my school best wishes and to offer their help with projects. Very exciting times for us. Katie Burke was sitting right behind me at the adjacent table but we didn't get a chance to talk.

I just signed up too (also just for lunch). 
 
Yeah, I was wondering about that 10 minute timeframe too... If that is the case I suggest we scrap what we planned and instead we could just simply explain what the GSE program is, what its goals are, each make a 30-second or so presentation on how the program impacted us, then play a slideshow of photos to ride out the rest of the time.

Hi, I have registered for Sat lunch only.  I too like Matt’s idea, mostly pictures, less talk – seems that’s what they are asking for with only giving us 10 mins- even though we each can talk fast! ha ha

Thank you for your input.  I will call Anna tomorrow to obtain clarification.  I suggest that I "operate" the visual presentation on the Friday night and Saturday morning and that we each speak to the assembly during our allocated time and thus, we can each discuss how we profited from this great experience. 
 
I will contact you after I speak to Anna and get her guidance and advice.

I just hope I have not confused everyone!!!  I did not read the message that stated we were presenting early Saturday morning.  Thankfully, Anna cleared up my misunderstanding.  Michelle, Jennifer, Louise, Ragen, Matt, could all confirm that you will be present for the Saturday morning presentation?  In addition, who is going to transmit to me the visual presentation?

Hi Gilles,

Matt and I made a presentation that you are welcome to show. It is in the email we sent you a couple of weeks ago. You have to log in to a dropbox account. Pretty simple, just follow the instructions. It is too big to email easily that is why we put it out in the cloud.

So we have 10 minutes to speak from 8:25-8:35, is that correct? Because what shows as the starting time on the web site seems different.

If so, you are saying we just each speak for 2 minutes about what we gained from the experience and no slides during that part?
