Hi,
Please find the update of seepage at C-603 : Status (Today, there is a lot of water in seepage affected area).

2 Weeks back, C-703 has opened water tap from outside of his master bedroom bathroom and seepage started in C-603. It was stopped when water tap of mainline was closed .

Today, I discuss with consultant and they come to the apartment and visit both C-603 and C-703. They tell water pipe is broken and need to replace or repair the water pipe within bathroom. They also tells this will require one week time to fix (removal of tiles/bath tubs/etc/) and he will provides quotation to Manager by end of Tuesday (20/11/2013).

I will update more once we will get quotation.

Thanks
Jitendra

Please find the status of the Seepage C-603 as of 21st Oct'2013:-

Hi,
I'm sorry to reply late because I was busy with personal reason. Closing of bathroom water tap from outside works nicely. There is no seepage since Oct'5th and affected area is dried.

I would request Jayanthi to please let us know next plan and we will work on this issue and we will  close ASAP.

Thanks
Jitendra

Thanks for the response. Please find update as of today (28th Sept'2013).

Status:- Today morning, I noticed there is a lot of  seepage water in the seepage area of my master bedroom (C-603). I visited to the C-703 flat and found that bathroom is dried but still seepage happening in my flat. So, the cause is not from C-703. I discussed with Jayanti (MC member) and she suggested to close the bathroom water from outside with the help of Mallesh. I got confirmation from Mallesh and he closed water tap from outside which only for master bathroom.

Observation:- We (Jitendra, Jayanti and resident of C-703) are analyzing that the cause may be water pipe is broken from outside and seepage is happening , it can be in C-703 .  Now we closed water tap to get confirmation of our thought process. Once we will find the exact reason then we will discuss whether fixes are from outside or within the apartments. I will update after one week i.e. 5th Oct'2013.

Costs:- we are abide by association law and rules. But ready to help and fix amicably.

Thanks
Jitendra

Dear Mr Jitendra,

We understand that C703 owner / caretaker had come yesterday to address to the leakage issue. He has also confirmed that he will lock the bathroom or cut the water supply to the bathroom to isolate the issue for sometime (one or two months). During this period if the leakage still occurs in your flat then the issue is not with his bathroom. If the leakage still continues we will try to find out what the issue is  and from where it is originating. If it is from some pipeline in his flat he has agreed to resolve the issue provided the cost is shared between the owners. This is because he has already spent to fix the issue sometime earlier.

The MC is planning to ask owners to amend the resolution on cost to 50-50 between the owners of the flats in which leakage is taking place.

Hope this helps!!

Regards,
MC
