I agree fully for CCTV installed at RGL. That being said, please help clarify these questions that I have:

If I understand the quotation correctly - it has provided 2 options: 

16 channel video with only 12 cameras (total cost: 140,253), 

4 channel video with 4 cameras (total cost: 29,947)

The quotation recommends this camera: "HIKVISION make DS-2CE16DOT-IRP". 

The price quoted for this is: Rs. 2,050 (before GST Taxes)

If you see in amazon this same product is available for Rs. 1650.

Similarly the DVR Recorder system: DS-7216HQHI-F1 is quoted as 13,300 + Taxes.

Amazon lists it at 2,000 Rs. less.

Here are my questions:

1. I understand the labor for installation charges will vary, but equipment DVR and camera charges should be charged as-is, correct?

2. Where will the recorder be housed? In the security office?

3. Also, does the recorder have the ability to stream these atleast to a local TV? Like the ones they show in movies. Where the security can watch all 12 camera feeds in a small tv?

4. The reason I ask for the previous is, its better to identify anything immediately instead of waiting for someone to report and then go back to the footage, no?

Dear Mr.Venkat / Prabhu,

I also have all these questions. I have to check with the vendor for all these, but the problem in our premise is we do not have common EB connection, we do not have common room to keep all these item, so these are all additional cost, but people are having any interest in this, if majority of the Residents are accepted than only we can proceed further on this.
