using ps2ascii with rghost

Is it possible to use rghost to drive ghostscript using the
ps2ascii.ps to extract text from a postscript file?

Does rghost use the ghostscript api or does it just call the
executable?

Hi Don,

The rghost generates postscript format and compile it using ghostscript for some output format.

It doesn't handle the gs internal api.
