Lazy Magnolia Southern Pecan Nut Brown Ale

Kind of a disappointing ale. The color was OK, kind of a deep amber
red. It poured with a light brown head that did not last very long.
The aroma was nothing of consequence, in fact it did not particularly
awaken any special olfactory sensations. The taste was definitely a
big let down. Nothing special, almost like drinking a Bud. No
special taste sensations. No discernible hint of roasted pecan. No
discernible hint of any nutty flavor or roasted malts of any kind.
Basically kind of bland.
I was really looking forward to trying this one out since it sounded
so good.

Bummer, Doug. It's really frustrating when something that sounds so
promising doesn't pay off, eh? :-/
