Is it possible to use the 1080p of the camera ? (with Kinect v1)

I wanna use the 1080p of camera but 720p camera is recommended.
Is there something wrong with the use of 1080p camera ?

Hi there,

Yes you can use 1080p camera, or even 4k camera. I'm not sure where you are reading that 720p is recommended - could you point us to where that is stated

I thought that "To use the DepthKit you'll need an HD camera" means "You have to use an HD camera"
It was my misunderstanding.

You do have to use an external video camera, the resolution is really up to you.
