I had downloaded the RDBDepth kit back when the beta was free for all.  I installed it, and it took a while, but finally had a Kinect, nice DSLR, and camera mount 3d Printed.  I was just starting to get into using the software when my harddrive died and I lost the software.  I'm devastated to see that the software is now available by paid/invitation-only.

Is there anywhere I can download the old, free beta version? I'd like to keep working with it if at all possible.

Thank you!

Hey Kevin!

So sorry about this! You can still find the old tool here: www.depthkit.tv/rgbdtoolkit using the password "rgbdfree". Please don't share this around :) It's also worth saying that you should definitely check out the new tool and apply to the beta. We can fast track you to acceptance! It supports the Kinect v2, and also allows you to capture using only the sensor (no calibration required!).

Let me know if you have any other questions and I'd be glad to help!

Best,
Kyle

Awesome! Thank you.  Don't worry, I will not share the link.

I'd LOVE to be a part of the beta, but I don't think I can afford the fee.  I direct films as a "hobby" (passion/obsession) but don't make much money off them.
