I've just recently started sailing a DragonForce 65.Can anyone please advise wind strengths for A, B and C set sails and if I was to purchase just one further set would best option be B or C

Your A rig will stand up to just about anything you can, but for a more comfortable sailing the B rig is desirable. We have sailed the Dragons since they were first launched and only one member has a C rig. He very rarely uses it in club racing but does use it in extreme conditions when racing away with the top sailors. Do not worry about wind speeds, its the gusts that count. If the gusts are extreme enough to make the boat unmanageable come ashore and have a coffee. However do not worry if you want to try a bit of extreme sailing as long as your patches are tight the boat will not sink although you may suffer some rig damage, easily repaired. There may be some long term cracking of the hull if constantly overpressed  although several other factors contribute to this also. Go ahead and enjoy sailing your fun boat. Do not worry about wind speeds. If you cannot tack through the wind and have to jibe round down wind to change direction then its time for a smaller rig or coffee. Get out there and enjoy your sailing
