Just bought a new Tx/Rx as I ran over my old Joysway Tx.
The 2HR transmitter is similar to the Joysway being small and lightweight but thicker making it easier to hold. It has some interesting positive advantages.

I do not think that Futaba knows what it has done as they make no mention of the fact that a little knob on the top right hand corner marked D/R is actually an End Point Adjuster for channel 1. You can adjust the rudder angle from 35 to 95 degrees. CW to increase.

Channel 2 PWM travel is greater than most Tx/Rx's at 0.9ms This means the sheet travel is now about 110mm which is ideal for the Dragon.  A spring can be taken out to removed the central bias. Trims are +/- 11%

The antenna is internal as a flat copper strip on the PCB. This gives the same problem as on the Joysway's unit as you have to point the front of Tx at the boat not at 45 deg to the sky. I don't think it is as sensitive as the Joysway.

The TX uses 1.5v dry batteries even though it has a charging socket. I don't know if it actually works.
It says it has a fail safe function but does not tell you how it works.

Rx 4.8 - 7.4v Rechargeable. Push button binding.

Sorry to disagree with you, Tony, but the knob you refer to marked D/R (Dual Rate) is exactly that. It allows you to quickly reduce the sensitivity of the rudder, by reducing the throw by an equal amount on either side of neutral. It is not an end-point adjuster, which would allow you to adjust the end point of either side separately.

I do accept the fact that for some purposes it might serve the purpose of an end-point adjuster. In my opinion, this radio is rather overpriced for what it is.

David.

Myself and a number of other club members have the flysky unit, mainly with the cheaper receiver and have had good results. At £50 or less for the combo they are great value.
