Who is not a dark horse in this market other than Qualcomm??

I see the following in linked in (from  an ex-Intel guy).

"The news is flowing around that INTEL will merge it's wireless businesses (MCG) into the PC business unit. I'm wandering what is coming out of this move. From my point of view it doesn't seem that good. and maybe even a desperate move. I hope I'm getting this wrong so we can keep the competition up between the rivals. Please share your opinion."

Some re-arrangments to keep the business running and wash the investors eyes?

It has already happened and the news is in the public domain. Its called "Client Computing Group".
But it is nothing more than yet another of those restructurings which give the management some work to do - when they are not going all over the world giving vacuous and meaningless talks ....
