Japanese Language Problem so/ソ

When generating a pdf with the character ソ, it gets garbled on
output. A previous post suggested that this may be due to the fact
that this character contains slashes when converted to ShiftJIS. Is
there a fix for this, the only work-a-around so far has been to us a
half-width so character instead.

Ah, the gihub repos was missing a patch that fixes some issues exposed
by Japanese language. The repos has been updated to include the patch.
