Hi, I have the Alien ALR9800 reader with 4 antennas. I am using the
Alien Gateway software that came with the reader. However, I want to
do more testing than it allows. I want to be able to measure tag read
performance. For example, at 1 foot from the read, the tag has a
strength of 98% but at 5 feet the signal strength is only 92%. What
software can you recommend?

讲讲我用过的办法吧.
我在清华电磁辐射实验室做过一个测试实验,他们的仪器可以探测电磁波的频点,方向,强弱等等,经过一些信号衰减实验和理论的计算,可以得出一些有效信
息.
其实你讲得这个性能测试不应该你做,应该Alien自己做了然后在Datasheet里面写出来.
