Invitation for Film Screening and Discussion

School of Liberal Studies at the Pandit Dindayal Petroleum University and Women’s Cell of the University are happy to invite all the student members of RFGI to the three day event (April 18-19-20, 2012) of screening and discussion of films from World Cinema on issues related to women from 6 to 8 pm. 

 

There will be a panel discussion on 20^th of April .

 

The panelists are:

1.       Bobby Singh- Cinematographer of ‘Gangster”;’Life In A Metro’;’ Dirty Picture”etc.

2.       Mita Vashisht- Actress, Activist and Theatre personality

3.       Ranjana Harish- Eminent gender studies scholar

4.       Mayank Jain- Documentary film maker and social activist

5.       Apsara Iyengar- from Shamiyana

6.       Alpesh Rohit- Faculty, CPIFT

7.       Bhavna Ramrakhiani- NGO activist

8.       Dakshesh Pathak- Film critic and journalist
