How can i verify wire and conectors in a radiant system, make a sweep distance to fault?

Hi everyone, i want to known how can i do a sweep distance to fault with RF Explorer because i need verify some jumpers and i need verify hows the wire and conectors works if the wire its bad or connectors have some troubleshooting,  if somebody know i appreciate the info

Hi Juan,

You can do a SNA tracking to check if a cable is correct, for that you need the RF Explorer Signal Generator and the Spectrum Analyzer. Note this will provide you information on the cable quality and status based on attenuation at different frequencies, but not DTF as that requires a VNA. You do not need DTF to check if cables or connectors are ok, DTF is useful (albeit complex) to determine the exact position of a fault, if that exist.
