Hi everyone!

First time posting and hoping for a little help.

I'm an audio engineer dealing with the 470-960mHz band.

I've been using the RF Explorer and accompanying RF Explorer software for Windows for some time now.
I recently downloaded iRF Explorer for my mac and was hoping to use the software to create scan files to import into Wireless Workbench.

I figured out how to copy and paste the spectrograph into a text file, search and replace the tabs with semicolons, and format just like WWB likes YET when importing into WWB, I get the error "This file cannot be opened.

It may be corrupted or the wrong type of file. Please select a valid scan file.".

I've attached the "formatted" .csv file.

I'm sure my method is not correct. Can anyone help?

Thanks for any guidance!

Soundnerd,

The frequency must be in one column, the dB value in the other... if you can format your cav to look like the sample below, it will import:

470.000, -102.4
470.025, -102.3
470.068, -101.6
470.112, -100.4

Hope this helps,
-Jason
