RF Explorer attached to PC with client s/w for long periods?

Hi,

I find the PC client s/w very interesting and hook it up to my laptop often.  My question is, if using the RF Explorer (3G Combi version) connected to a PC running the client s/w are they any consideration to take into account if going to run for long periods?

I may have it connected and running while doing other stuff in my office but would this:

1. effect the battery life?

2. effect the battery in general?

3. Anything else I should know?

I suspect the battery will suffer if connected for long periods so what would be a 'max' if applicable?
