csv files as heatmap

I just bought Rf explorer 3g combo for research work and also installed the rf pc client for proper documentation. I am finding it difficult to view csv log files as a waterfall/ heatmap in microsoft excel

Hi,

The CSV files are good for external processing but Excel is not a tool able to represent waterfall or heatmap, which are advanced visualization modes not specific to spreadsheet tools like Excel.

Try Touchstone by www.NutsAboutNets.com - it includes heatmap and other graphic modes you may find useful.

Touchstone software requires license, please do you know of any software that I can download free and will give me a per‎fect heatmap graph like touchstone

Hi,

Yes, they have a 15 days free trial option. We are not aware of any free option with Heatmap graph type.
