Possible to move/override plugin settings to/in rezconfig.py?

Heya,

is this possible? I tried and failed. My main reason being that every install overrides plugin rezconfigs with empty defaults. Also, will they be moved to .py eventually?

What do you mean specifically? Do you mean moving the 'rezconfig' files in the plugins to rezconfig.py? If so then yeah I'd like to do that, haven't gotten around to it.
