Typical my luck... Just started using Rextester on monday to demonstrate SQL code for my coworkers and then on tuesday you lock down SQL for Patreons. If I had been using it for longer I might be inclined to sign up so I hope others feel it's worth it but if it's out of the blue with no prior warning I personally tend to feel like it's a betrayal to lock away things that have been part of the free 'tier' behind a pay wall. A perfect example of that kind of situation is what has happened to LastPass lately after locking away the ability to use both phone and PC to the premium plans. While I personally am bummed that you suddenly (unless there has been a proper heads up that things like this might happen that I missed when signing up) took a couple of languages out of the equation I wish you the best of luck. I will be looking for other options though and I would appreciate if you would delete my account (TomasForsman) and all info saved about me since I can't find such an option in the settings.

I understand. One cannot make such changes in a pleasant way, it was abrupt though, true.

I understand why you are doing it. Having a service up is costly and either you need to find a way to make money, find investors or hope to sell it once you have enough users and no matter what way you choose it'll bother some users.
Personally I'm more a proponent of putting new features and improvements in a premium tier and then move some of them, but not all, to a free tier after a while. "Get everything new before everyone else!" is kind of the Patreon way, even as far as having a tier system where you get more stuff and faster if you are on a higher plan. Putting existing features behind a Patreon payment is more the equivalent of a clunky a membership system. Even though I disagree with the way you are doing it I fully support your effort to get payed for your work and the service you provide and wish you the best of luck in that endeavour. Also I should mention that I really liked the SQL feature and it helped me a lot the other day, so thanks for that.

How long will it take to get my data removed from the system?

The thing is I'm not planning adding any new features, but only improve existing ones. For example, no one sees this, but rextester's backend is now scalable and could take much higher load with little preparation (linux based languages only).

Also I've come to a conclusion that either it has to be a business with profit (or the very least no costs) or it has to die.

Patreon is chosen as well as the whole "abruptness" merely because it is most efficient (least effort) to implement. Again with some profit and paying customers would come more resources to do things properly.

Another idea, and just throwing things out here for you to consider if you so wish =), would be to limit number of 'Run' you can do per hour or day or limit the number of projects you can save. I realize, however, that would mean that you can only 'run' code when logged in, at least for the affected languages. A problem with having languages blocked off is that you won't get anyone to try how well the SQL implementation works and thus if that is what they are after they won't be inclined to pay for access to it.
