The thing is I'm not planning adding any new features, but only improve existing ones. For example, no one sees this, but rextester's backend is now scalable and could take much higher load with little preparation (linux based languages only).
Also I've come to a conclusion that either it has to be a business with profit (or the very least no costs) or it has to die.
Patreon is chosen as well as the whole "abruptness" merely because it is most efficient (least effort) to implement. Again with some profit and paying customers would come more resources to do things properly.
