The Alpine Freestyle systems have been created to cover the growing demand for a custom installation system. Freestyle can be used especially for vehicles where no regular radio or navigation fits and no solutions are available. It is then up to the skill of the installer to use the Freestyle system to create a great solution for the vehicle.
The Alpine Style system offers extensive media options including Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility, and cutting edge iGo Primo Nextgen navigation with TomTom maps and 3 years free-of-charge map updates. You also get high-end sound quality and sound tuning options with this great system.
Alpine is closing the TuneIt app services by end of March 2023. The Tuneit app will then no longer be available on the Google Play store and the Apple App store for download and all online functions of the app (such as sharing and downloading of sound settings) will be no longer available.

The BASS button next to the central control knob takes you directly to the advanced bass level adjustment function. As you choose one of the six levels, it automatically adjusts frequency cut-off, Q factor and subwoofer level for optimum sound quality and tonal balance.
This unit is able to delay the audio signal to the speakers closest to the listener. This effectively creates a perception of increased distance for those speakers. The listener can be placed at an equal distance between the left and right speakers for optimum staging.

We recommend for example, that the volume buttons are always installed on the same side than the steering wheel to be easily reachable.
You can easily adjust the illumination colour of the control buttons to 6 different colours (white, red, yellow, amber, blue and green) to match the Freestyle system to your dashboard illumination. Android Auto automatically brings you useful information, and organizes it into simple cards that appear just when they're needed. Both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto can access the navigation antenna of the X703D-F for improved accuracy when using the navi apps.
We redesigned the user interface to allow fast switching of applications with a single swipe of a finger. If you for example view and iPod playlist on your screen, all you have to do is swipe your finger from right to left to view the navigation map and iPod screen in a convenient split screen arrangement. Another swipe will show you the navigation map in full screen. This operation methodology works in all four directions to quickly and easily reach the most often used functions. You will especially like this functionality while driving since it eliminates to look for specific buttons.
