Dear Lawrence, The Santa Clara Valley Water District is now recruiting water ambassadors! The water district's first Water 101 Academy launches this spring and we're looking for community leaders who can help others understand local water issues and water projects. Learn more here: https://bit.ly/2DS2Jr4. The application period for our new spring 2019 academy is now open through December 21. The twice-a-month sessions will kick off on Feb. 6, 2019 and will conclude on Mar. 26, 2019. To complete an online application before December 21, visit our website www.valleywater.org/learning-center/water-101-academy.   There are also additional year-round volunteer opportunities through our Water Education & Volunteer Programs for anyone interested in volunteering in our programs a few times a month.
